crazy x wifes

my husband and I just recently got custody of his children . they were severly negleted by there mother . Her husband was abusive mentally and physically. granted we have temperory custody of these two kids but i love them so much. she is supossed to get every weekend supervised visits at her moms and two phone calls a week . since august she has not called them once and has not come to visit . Her phone calls are on Tuesday and thursday at six pm. well she does not usually call the house she has called my husband a couple times and here once not on sceduled days. should I let her talk to the kids or not. I really dont think she cares about the kids I think she just wants to cause trouble. Granted I cant stand her but I love these kids . They are good kids and finally getting settled. how do I handle her and what should I do she thinks she does not have to lisiten to what the judge says and she can call or not call and there is nothing we can do about it... me personally I think she is a poor excuse for a mother and even less a women..

  • I feel for you!! My husbands ex also neglects their son and I adore him and him me. I think she needs to show some respect to the law and to you and your husband by towing the line. If she is serious about those kids she will do WHATEVER it takes to build a relationship with them. As unreasonable and petty as it sounds, she needs to respect and adhere to the boundaries in place in order to move forward with her kids and you. She seems to show no intent from her side. Maybe even if she regains custody the kids will not want to go back there!
