8 years ago i lived with my parents in California. An ex-girlfriend from Chicago, found me via the internet, and flew out to make amends for cheating on me four years prior. We were totally re-attracted to each other. We got pregnant. She made better money, so i packed my stuff and moved back to Chicago.. Our beautiful daughter was born.
Three years passed. Our love life wasn't so hot anymore. I caught her in a lie to find out she was cheating. I moved out. Stayed close for my daughter. Got a one-bedroom apt(all i could afford on my own). My bed's in the living room, like a studio. Bedroom is for my daughter. She stays with me 3-4 nights a week. I take and pick her up from school thursdays and fridays.
Now, i have a new girlfriend and another daughter. My ex is freaking out and demanding more money. i already give her a check every month for 20% of what i earn...
I'm now about to move into a two-bedroom place so everyone is happy!
We've been ok for the most part. But now she assumes my girlfriend is a free babysitter, since she's home with the baby when i'm at work. We told her we would keep her here, but she has to pay, like she would with a sitter. She flipped. Told me her new boyfriend wants to be her father and that my daughter hates the new girlfriend... And now, supposedly i'm waiting for some legal documents from her lawyer... We were never married. We never went to court.
I would appreciate ANY advice...
