I live in lower Alabama. My soon-to-be ex-husband claims that I can't keep the kids away from him while we are in the process of our divorce. He has already signed the papers but won't send them until I give him the kids for 2 weeks. My kids are 4, 3, and 16 months old. My attorney has told me not to let him have the kids until we receive the papers and until it is court ordered for me to let him see the kids. My kids father claims that I'm kidnapping the kids from him even though the kids are in my custody. If anyone what I should do please let me know. We were together for 3 1/2 years being married for going on 5 years. The last time that he saw the kids was in November when he sent them home; he sent my youngest one home with a severe diaper rash & lice, he also let my toddlers watch Freddy vs. Jason & Nightmare on Elm Street. I'm just going by what my attorney is telling me to do in this matter. My kids dad also claims that he is going to call the cops on me because I'm not letting him see the kids. I told him that he could see the kids if he came down to lower Alabama. So I'm not letting him keep the kids, he can see them but he has to come down here to see them. Please if anyone who reads this and who has been in the same situation please can I please have some advice on what to do or what to talk to my attorney about.
