Well where do I start...Hum I was just recently divorce from 17 years of marriage and 4 children later . Basically stayed for the kids ,ex was a very heavy drinker 11 years of marriage . Mentally abusive as well man handling me and tried to take his own life twice .No I wasn't perfect but I was there for the kids the whole time we where married . He didn't involve himself with the kids because he was to wrapped up in his drinking or job. You know its funny because there are some people only do something if they ae forced to . I left for the third time and did not turn back and now we are divorce and the court awarded him the right to decide where our kids live and go to school..When I left i took all of my 4 kids but the boys wanted to go back to what they where use too . The girls stayed with me but when it was getting close to the trial date my oldest thought i was to hard on her and wanted to try and live with her dad. The judge didn't look at anything else but the income of my ex and the fact that my ex had 75 % of the kids .I did have a lawyer and tired to get support ,etc. but got nothing . I have always been there for my kids and now I can't even see them everyday or week . The father that didn't want anything to do with them has them . He dosent take any responsibility for nothing and blames me for everything and is sending email and texts of how i messed up ...I am just trying to move forward and deal with this the best way I can ..I know there is always a brighter path that will lead me and I am so ready to follow !
