Give Me My Kidney Back or I'm Going to Cry Like a Little Girl
January 8, 2009
Dr.
Richard Batista donated one of his kidney's to his wife. I think anybody should
do this and if they wouldn't do it, they shouldn't be married to that person. If
you don't love someone enough that you would give your life for them, or at
least donate an organ, then you shouldn't be married. Well, Dr. Richard Batista
is no longer married and he wants his damn kidney back! Someone should help him
get his dignity back instead.
He donated his kidney in 2001 and his wife filed for divorce in 2005. His attorney claims that she began having an extramarital affair a couple of years after the transplant. Uh ... HELLO!?!? Two years later dude! Not two days later. Get a clue and get a life! This guy is acting like all the psycho ex-wives I read about on ExRants.com.
Dawnell Batista, a nurse, filed for divorce in July 2005, and her husband countersued that same year. The demand for the kidney was not part of the original countersuit, but was introduced Wednesday, said his attorney, Dominic Barbara. Barbara said the $1.5 million his client feels he's entitled to reflects damages, including how much money she made as a result of being able to continue working and not having to go on dialysis. "A price can't be placed on a human organ but it does have value," he said.
Batista said his aim was to draw attention to her not allowing him agreed-upon visitation with the couple's three children, ages 14, 11 and 8.
What a loser. Look buddy, if there are issues where she won't let you see your children, as you claim, then deal with that and let's get rid of the circus side-show. Act like man and not like a crying little girl. Move on.
